Trithematic dream last night: Space and Knights and Pirates, oh my.
First, Space.
There was a shuttle launch planned from my backyard in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania (isn't that where ALL shuttles are launched from?), and I was one of the three intended passengers. The other two were women, one very responsible and the other slightly more blonde. The blonde and I were both late, but I was late because I was taking care of a young black boy who didn't want me to leave. I told him I had to go and we went over the closed space ship (which was small enough to fit in my dorm room). He stood next to it, and a beam came out of the side and teleported him into it. Then the blonde girl showed up and the same happened for her. I wasn't being beamed in because all three spaces were full, but then the kid was beamed back out, and I was beamed in. We were packed pretty tightly in the ship in three separate compartments, and as it lifted off one of us said something about having to throw up. Soon, we were at the distant planet that we were meant to explore (no, not Mars. It was most likely in the galaxy I heard about on NPR last night that was found by the Hubble). It was pretty crazy and dark, and we had to use suction cups to get around. I was attacked by a humanoid alien and threw him into space, consequently being yelled at by the responsible female for messing with the inhabitants. Hey, it wasn't my fault, it attacked me! The scene shifted, but was still on the planet. We were suddenly in a very developed area of the planet with large crystal palaces and a beautiful glassy river flowing by the side of the building I was on (I was on a balcony overlooking the river.). I looked into the river, and some creature with a head as large as a car looked at me. I waved, and it did the sign language for the word "dislike" from it's face instead of it's chest. This was apparently the greeting on that planet. There were some other fellow astronauts on that building, and one had been lost there long ago. We walked in and everyone but me stood on a blue mat, which quickly grew to engulf them up to their heads. I knew it was a trap, so I ducked so as not to be seen. The lost astronaut came out, triumphant and furious at the same time. He was pissed at the space program for leaving him stranded, and was planning to take his revenge by killing us. He had not seen me, but revealed his whole freakin life history to the other astronauts as I snuck around the blue, tent-like prison in which my fellow space travellers were held. I lunged at the maniac, but he shoved me off and took out his gun. It looked like a nerf gun, with a yellow dart on the front. He explained that the dart would kill anyone instantly if hit. He pointed it at my chest and the astronauts gasped. He went into another boring monologue, and I knocked the gun out of his hand and wrestled with him for a bit. We fell onto a couch where the dart had landed, and the gun had gone skittering across the floor. After wrestling w/ him a bit, I grabbed the dart from the couch and jumped of him to the gun, upon which I fitted the dart. I pointed it at him, and an odd, quizzical expression came upon his face. I shot him in the chest, and his face scrunched up and he keeled over. I freed my friends after my victory. I then ran out onto the balcony and jumped off, falling 7 or 8 stories down into the river, where a ship was waiting. I climbed into the ship and went to my cabin. I checked in my desk drawer and found a lock box, which I promptly opened (the lock box was undoubtedly inspired by my lockbox in my room to which I've lost the key). There was a $1000 bill in the box, which I pocketed, realizing that I should have put that in my savings so that it could collect interest. I was worried there would be a mutiny on the ship and they would steal my $1000!
Theme shift! "Mmmm... Pirates!"
So I was on the ship with few other people, and we were sure that we were being pursued by a viscous gang of pirates as we sailed away from the land. When we looked back, though, the "pirate" ship was still docked, and we were confused. I volunteered to swim over to find out what had happened. As I neared the ship and climbed aboard, I notice there were no passengers, but when I jumped back into the water, I saw a dark path in the water. Looking under the surface, I saw many sailors swimming stealthily towards the boat, and knew I was in trouble for having seen them. They weren't pirates, but needed secrecy nonetheless. A representative of theirs came over and tried to knife me, but I somehow got him back to our ship and explained everything to him and promised I wouldn't be a problem.
Theme shift 2! "Valiance and the horror slide..."
Now I'm a knight, but a not very good one. I've had few battles, but knew I was destined for some great quest. I somehow received a hint that I needed to get over to an island revered for making good knights, and followed the tip. From the place where I was, I had to take a secret passage to the island. I went into a secret door, and began to slide down a long slide with many bad haunted house effects. After going through a mirror (well, actually, it was supposed to be like I went "through" it into a different dimension or something, but due to cheap effects, it opened up and I went behind it to the castle) I went into the basement of the castle and found hints about who had killed someone-or-other and a beautiful set of armor (probably mythril ;) ). There was one other chest I had to open, but I heard people moving about upstairs. I knew they would be coming down soon, and then I knew it would be my dad who came down. I ran around turning off all the lights except for one by a chair and grabbed a book. If he came down and wondered what I was doing, I could say I was just reading in the basement, though I knew he would yell at me because there wasn't enough light to read by, and it was bad for my eyes. I went down another level, and came to our kitchen, where my mom was standing and drinking coffee.
Uhm, yeah, that's the end. Great, huh? :)

The dream of most recentness is one of much psychosity. The dream began with a game, I believe. A game involving 4 to 6 people in completely darkness outside in a park. The goal of the game was to grab a scarf from one area and bring it back to your "home tree" to get points. The catch was that you weren't allowed to touch anybody else when you had the scarf or you had to take it back to where it was. Pretty weird, and dark.
After that dream came another phase, a much more serious phase that's almost movie worthy (I want to be a writer or director or something!). I dreamt that I was with my family in the rainforest on a raft ride on a river with many trees growing in the middle of it. The exotic part of my dream at this point was that we could all turn into different types of birds. I don't remember what my parents could turn into (my sister wasn't there) but I could turn into an owl, and I kept changing into an owl and flying to a tree branch and then back to the raft. We eventually came into a tunnel, though, and the current slowed. The inside of the tunnel was developed into some sort of temple or something, with large blocks placed intermittently in the river to keep the current slow. I had turned into an owl and flown over to a block when the raft was stopped by a native, who began to get very angry at my parents. I changed back into human form and was swimming in the water watching the proceedings, helpless to do anything to stop them. My parents didn't know what they had done wrong, and the native kept getting more and more angry. At the climax of his anger, he took out a blow gun and shot my dad in the head, but the blow gun had the force of a shotgun and... well, made a mess. I, as was to be expected, was kinda upset. Well, really upset. But I couldn't do anything.
Then the dream shifted, in a way. I floated farther down the tunnel, and came to a huge, developed, futuristic metropolis which was apparently being protected from discovery by the the native and the front of the temple. The ceiling seemed like it was a mile high, and everywhere I looked the architecture was made of stainless steel. There were many security guards, which I snuck past. I realized that I had been trapped in the metropolis and had no way of getting out. I eventually snuck past some security guards and took a long flight of stairs to an upper level, where I found a dark maze with small glowing children going in and out of all the tunnels. I'm somewhat sure that they were meant to lead me astray and get me lost in the dark tunnels to die. But I passed them and eventually came to what seemed to be an exit, guarded by more security guards. They spotted me and began to chase me in the other direction. I slid down the flat metal banister of the stairs I had taken before and began running the way I had come. I saw two more security guards who were listening to their walkie-talkies and looked at me knowingly. I planned to jump through or over them (quite sure of my ability to jump superhumanly, semi-matrix style), but was then confronted by more security guards. I was sure I coundn't get past all of them, so I gave up and stood still.
That dream ended.
Then I dreamt I was riding in my Granny's car and we were going to my house, but there were many cars blocking the road and parked in our driveway. I had to help my Granny park her car, since I was more experienced in my driveway than she. That dream ended, too. The End. hehe.
