FREE YOUR MIND, AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW

I was invited to a dinner at a friends house while at college, but the college I was at was quite different from Calvin. It was much more state schooly. I got there and wasn't able to help with anything, but somehow got involved with a laserquest battle in a church. I was doing very very well, but Kristen Herr jumped out in front of me and scared the crap out of me.

I was back at the friends' house, and decided I should go back to my dorm room and put on some shorts, since I was only wearing a t-shirt and boxers (no, that's not what I wore to bed). For some reason I was taking a bottle of 7up with me on a dolly. I saw my sister on my way there and she invited me over to her dorm room. I wanted to get there quickly, so I left the dolly behind a tree, singing some sort of song about leaving things behind. But the 7up was no longer 7up, it was just a very small mason jar that was empty (it was very much like the one that contained the strawberry jam I finished the other day).

I went back to my dorm and put some clothes on, and my sister was calling out to me from a few doors down. I saw her in my mind and knew she was wearing an ugly green dress, but didn't know which dorm she was in. I accidentally walked into someone else's room, but she was on her computer and didn't even notice me. I finally found my sister's dormroom, and she was rather depressed. So much so that she was toking up. She had quite a collection of marijuana paraphernalia in her room, and asked me to toke up with her. I declined at first, but eventually decided to chew on a marijuana leaf, and that got me rather loopy. I asked my sister what was wrong, and she said that her "life-partner" or something like that had died. She showed me his name, which was something like LeFraw DeDea Jerome or something like that. I knew he was African, but had a hard time picturing my sister with a black guy.

(I almsot forgot this part, and don't know where it came in sequence, I'll put it here)
**My sister had decided to get some guinea pigs (surprisingly like Rachel Birr this week...), but instead of getting just a couple, she got a whole bunch of them. There were six terrariums (terrarii?) in her room, 3 of which had critters in them. But some of the critters were guinea pigs, and some were mice. I had to take 10 or so out of one of the terrariums to clean it for her, but I just set them on the counter. When I was done, they weren't there anymore and I was worried that they had run off, but I wasn't sure if they had run off or if they were in another terrarium. I just left... seeing a mouse in the hallway as I went. Oh well.**

Once I was rather blitzed, I went back to my room and had strange hallucinations. At one point I thought that two sports announcers were describing me to an audience, and said something about how I'd grown a fish tail. So I flopped up and down on my bed to try and move my tail around. Then I was looking up at my ceiling and singing some sort of hippy-esque song about freedom, and the ceiling turned all psychedelic with crazy swirling colours. Then it all turned blue, and it was the sky with birds flying in it. I hallucinated that I was flying with them while singing my song.

I eventually came out of that one and turned over onto my stomach. I was looking at the wall by the head of my bed, and a strange spider crawled up it. It had many many legs and was wiggling them all in some sort of pattern.

Then I was in a cafeteria, and walked up to a very masculine looking girl. She said something about hormones or something like that (maybe it had something to do with my conversation last night with Kelly, where we discussed someone she knew who had to induce puberty hormonally). She showed me her massive muscles and I went to leave the cafeteria, but she followed me. We came upon a swing set that had a strange wooden gate on the other side of it that came about chest high. On the other side was a low tree branch. The girl went on the swing and told me to push her. I refused, saying that the last thing in the world I wanted to do was hurt her, which I might do by running her into the gate or the tree branch. So she said she'll push me, but I didn't want to get hurt either.

We looked up at the tree branch, and I saw three sets of flying birds. I was stricken with an overwhelming sense of deja vu, and told the girl. She took it as some sort of sign and ran off. But she didn't get very far when she called me over to join her on a large grassy area. I came over and she pointed to some nearby hilly ground which seemed to be shifting. On the other side of it was a volcano, which started erupting as we watched. It was AMAZING, though it was a bit foggy and I couldn't see it clearly. Then I realized that the volcanic eruption was sending out periodic waves of seismic force, which was changing and destroying the landscape all around. People near me started running, but I was glued to the spot, unable to take my eyes away from the volcanic eruption. I watched as the seismic waves decimated a parking garage no more than a mile from me. Then, as I watched, the hills in front of me burst open and poured out huge rushing rivers of water, which heading directly toward me. Everyone else was still screaming and running, but I could think of no more historic or exciting way to die, though I still planned to do my best to swim in the water.
