My dream last night felt amazingly real, and was inspired by the movie Never Let Me Go.

As the dream started off, I think I was a newcomer in a colony of people who were all about my age. Everyone felt familiar, like I'd known them for years, and yet each new person that came still brought a thrill of new experiences with them. We all became close within hours of meeting one another because we simply felt a common bond.

As the dream went on, I came to realize that we were all clones with very similar genetics. We were encouraged (perhaps by our genes, perhaps by the situation in which we were placed) to have very intimate relationships with one another. In fact, when a common attraction formed between two of us, their relationship moved from a "separate" or "single" status to a "tangled" status, which is something that both persons know right away when it happens. There is also a third, more intimate, relationship level, but I didn't know what it was called. I remember moving into a "tangled" status while rubbing feet with someone else in bed.



At one point a girl and I were planning to fall asleep in order to take on and kill Freddy Krueger. At first we were going to sleep in the same bed, but if one of us got killed, I didn't want the others to suspect that the other had done it. Also, I wanted to tell one of our colony-mates what we were doing so that they would know what happened if we both died. But then there was someone in my bed, and I started snuggling with them instead of falling asleep to fight Freddy.

Also at some point I dreamt that I was "putting makeup on" by applying shoe polish to my face.
